Changing a Carpet showroom to Holistic Treatment Rooms
It’s not very often you are asked to change a small dark narrow carpet showroom; it was definitely going to be a challenge.
The first step was to find out from the client how they wanted to market and present their company and the clientele they wanted to attract also Chrysalis had to work very closely with the branding agents so all the parts of the jigsaw tied in.
Once all the design and layouts had been confirmed including the display cabinets making sure they were the correct height and width for the products they wanted to sell. Also their was a small outside area that I wanted to incorporate into the design, creating an area to relax in after treatments.
Another area was to make sure there was plenty of storage which could also be used as seating with cushions over the boxing, fold down tables in the treatment rooms so there was plenty of versality and space when needed. Lighting was also very important soft subtle lighting that could be dimmed in the treatment rooms
Finishing touches included window dressings throughout tying in the colour scheme with the brown edging on the roman blinds as naturals, browns, Moroccan colouring throughout the project.
On this particular project Chrysalis also worked closely with the client for the launch party overseeing everything from start to finish ran smoothly and the client could relax and talk to her guests about her new challenge and what it could offer.
The one stop service covered all the needs for the client from refurbishment, furnishing, purchasing artwork, window dressings, photography, professional clean and the launch party.
